Love at first sight can be diversified in many ways. Do I believe in love at first sight? Yes. I believe in love at first sight because I am a person that doesn’t judge one by appearance but by the inner beauty, For some reason I can easily tell whether a person is good at heart or not. There are certain people today that I hang around only because I can tell their humbleness from a distance. For example, I fell in love with a young man named Pearc. He wasn’t your average kid. He was looked at as that one bad black kid that does all the wrong things for the wrong reasons. He was never was close to anyone because he knew deep down that they had only negative thoughts about him. Like said before, I don’t judge people by appearance. Yeah he dressed like a “thug” but he was better than that deep down. When we first met we grew easily close because we understood each other on bases that no one else can touch. I think it’s because we have been through some of the same things in life and we could read each others pain and want to have closure. We where friends for about a year then one day at his championship football game he got a concussion. I went with him to the hospital that night. I rode in the back sit with him on the way there and he held my hand until he got called back to the ER. I stayed until they let him go home. His mom dropped me off about 5 the next morning. That same day at around two his mom came to pick me up and said Pearc wanted to see me so she took me to the house and that’s when Pearc asked me out. And from that day we hit it off. On the third day he told me he loves me. And that was happily ever after. So because of this story I do believe in love at first sight.

I am currently reading The Giver. “This book is about a boy who lives in a perfect world; evevrything is under control. There is no war, fear, or pain. There are no choices. Every person is assigned a role in the Community. When Jonas turns twelve he is singled out to recieve special training from The Giver. The Giver alone holds the memories of the true pain and pleasure of life. Now it’s time for Jonas to recive the truth. There is no turning back.”

“My Life So Far…”

            Forest Gump once said “Life is like a box of chocolates, you never know what you’re going to get.” Every chocolate that I eat brings me something new. Every piece of chocolate is not something you want to bite in to but you do it just to try it out. There are many things I have done that relates. Once I bite in to a caramel filled chocolate (I hate caramel). When I bite in to it my taste buds burst in unwanted flavors. I tried to wash my mouth out, but even then there was still an after taste. Now while biting into the coconut filled chocolate I hesitated to do so because I wasn’t sure of the out come. Mistakes are made from trying. Not trying is not a failure and that is not in my book. Coconut filled my mouth, I liked the taste but the after taste could have been better. Saying this wasn’t one of my worst choices. “Life is like a box of chocolates, you never know what you’re going to get.”

People ask why I speak of so much hurt. Hurt is all I know. Life is a fight between reality and dreams. The reality is a horror movie. So is life even real? People ask why I listen to music so often. Music is my form of art. When life beats me down with a stick I beat it back with a drum. Music is the sound track of my life. It reminds me that there are others going through something worst than my situation. This also motivates me to discover new music and artist. Understand there style of music and why they do it the way that they do.

            “Since the house is on fire let us warm ourselves.” Sometimes in situations you can’t really do anything but tough it out till the end. Many of these situations aren’t always something you want out the drought for. Reality throws things at you to see how long you can handle the hurt. These are meant to make you a stronger and wiser person.

            “Does happiness come from money?” People say that if you have money all your problems should go away. When you never had money you tend to believe that this is true. So many of the daily problems are due to poor financial states so if these problems are solved shouldn’t you be happy? But when the money does flow in why is there still a space of sadness? Is it because money doesn’t make you happy or because the people that have the money aren’t happy? When I make money I go spend it on all my friends. I feel good that I can so but I still feel a sense of insecurity.

            My life so far is full of pain and agony but still I rise…..!
